What is Holistic Nutrition?

Holistic Nutrition is a more natural approach to wellness using the latest evidence-based techniques for healthy eating, well-being, and lifestyle.  Holistic Nutrition evaluates the complete health history, current eating patterns, and emotional frame of mind of a person to find the root cause of dis-ease, instead of treating the symptoms.  

What Is an Herbalist?

Herbalists use the seeds, berries, roots, leaves, bark, and flowers of plants called herbs or botanicals for medicinal purposes. Herbalists take a holistic approach to medicine, which means that they focus on comprehensive health care that addresses the physical, mental, emotional, social, spiritual, and economic needs of the patient.

What is The Process?

Your first session with me for nutritional consulting is a more of an informal  consultation where we will get to know each other and discuss your goals. You should set aside  about one hour for this first visit.

1. Find Out How I Can Help.

We talk about why you have come to me: what are your issues? What are your goals in relation to your issues? How motivated are you to regain your health?

2. Discuss Your Habits.

We talk about current eating habits, lifestyle habits, emotional state, stress levels etc. 

3. Fill Out The Questionnaire.

I give a questionnaire and some other paperwork to fill out, as well as a food journal to document food, drinks, and any symptoms they experience.

4. Make A Plan Together.

We come up with a plan of action to achieve your goals.

About Me

I have always had a special connection with nature and food.

 I grew up on Okanagan Lake in BC, where we had a huge backyard garden, and my Mom made everything from scratch.  My Mom taught me that the simplest ingredients, when treated with care and love, are transformed into a meal.

 I am passionate about health, good food, and good energy.  Every meal I make is infused with good vibes, healthy ingredients, and a little dash of my soul for good measure.
